On completion of my MLS in the fall of 2005, I worked briefly as the Digital Services Librarian for the Raymon H Mulford Library, Medical University of Ohio(now University of Toledo Health Science Campus). Where I worked with Open Source Softwares to implement various Information Technology Projects and provide both software and hardware support to the various units in the Library.
I am currently back to the Department of Library and Information Science Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, doing what I love: teaching and research and always looking for an opportunity to implement information and web technologies to facilitate access to information.
In April 2008, I secure a grant from eIFL.net to organize an International Workshop on Open Access repositories: New Model of Scholarly Communication.
I am married to a beautiful and lovely lady, "Mine," and I am blessed with two beautiful daughters: Sharon and Delight. I love Information technology but what I am more passionate about is my family. |
